Good Friday to all,
Well, it is the end of the week and I am sitting here on my lunch hour recapping a week ago today that had the opportunity to go to MDAM in beautiful Traverse City, MI.  Compliments to MI Division board of directors for the weekend which provided valuable educational & fun seminars!!  Also, the Monopoly theme was alot of fun, I was impressed by the creative energy that you all put into making the 2013 MDAM weekend spectacular; a weekend full of memories!!  I would like to express the seminar that really comes to my mind all week is "Internet Security" presented by Matthew Norris and the seriousness and the caution we must take when being on the Internet.  Mr. Norris provided us with so many tips of do's and dont's that everyone in the seminar was literally in shocked to hear.  One thing that amazed me is what "Wi Fi" we access since the Hackers are really out there waiting to take our personal information. Fact:  We are losing members – whether economics, interests, geography, they go.
Intervention:  We try to recruit using traditional methods, make special dues deals, hunt down MAL and prior members, and hold membership drives where maybe 1 in 10 may join – an incentive is being part of MOE.  We may lower our chapter dues or waive them for a time period; same at division level.
